Ryan Fridley:

Bass & Back-Up Vocals

Ryan is a native of the Midwest where he spent the first 25 years of his life in the burbs of Chicago, Detroit and Minneapolis.  He got his start in music singing along with The Doors and then later to Pearl Jam in the early 90’s, much to the annoyance of his friends and family. While in high school and college, Ryan would often contribute his singing talents to his friends and their local bands.

During Christmas of 96, at the tender age of 20, he received an acoustic guitar, electric guitar and a bass.  Ryan learned to play all 3 but felt the fastest way to join a band would be by focusing on bass.  Ryan joined a band in college that consisted of musicians that were older and more tenured then him and this forced Ryan to catch up quick.  This all original band was from Muncie, Indiana and relocated to Orlando, Florida in hopes to have a better shot at success.  As with most bands, this one did its best but never made it big. Just for fun, Ryan began to play the cover band scene in Orland, primarily with the band Triple Octane.

In 2008 he moved to Sarasota for work and family and joined the local band Someone from Somewhere. Ryan joined Triggerfish as their main bass player in 2015.

Ryan has a BS in Marketing from Ball State and is into sports & cars. He plays Ibanez basses exclusively.  He also has his own acoustic music up on youtube.
